Sixth Formers prepare for the future
Volunteers from a wide array of professional backgrounds spent a day helping to run a mock assessment centre for our Year 12s. Invaluable practice for what lies ahead for those who want to apply to apprenticeships or graduate training schemes.
As our Careers Leader, Sarah Miles, explained, "Assessment Centres are a standard part of the selection process for both apprenticeships and graduate training schemes and a day like this is a great way of dispelling any fears around interviews and the idea of completing assessment tasks."
The day was a huge success with students taking part in one to one interviews, desk based prioritisation tasks and presentations. Our thanks to the volunteers from Driving Ambition who gave their time and expertise so generously.
